Company History
Wapple founders had been developing mobile internet sites since 2002, successfully delivering mobile content over the Mobile Internet, before incorporating the Company in 2004.
Following requests from clients, other content owners and brands wishing to use the Wapple platform for themselves over the last three years, Wapple has evolved into a ground-breaking technology provider. It is committed to world class customer service and pushing the technical envelope to unrivalled heights.
Wapple has developed two technologies that when combined, provide a revolutionary solution to both businesses and individuals who desire to get on to the Mobile Internet.
The first is Wapple Canvas™. This is a web-based mobile internet site builder developed to make the job of creating sites an easy yet affordable one. Its user interface is simple and easy to understand and employs some very clever elements. Wapple Canvas™ allows the operator to be extremely creative regarding the design and layout of their sites without having any programming knowledge.
The second is Wapple's Device Profiler. A highly intelligent profiling system for repurposing sites to accommodate each and every mobile device and browser.

John Leftwich
Chairman
John was formerly Corporate Vice President of Microsoft responsible for Sales, Marketing and Service in Europe, the Middle East and Africa; a $9 billion business across 40 subsidiaries. John has almost 25 years experience in the PC industry and is widely regarded as one of the "founding fathers" of the industry in the UK.
Anne Thomas
Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer
Anne has 5 years' experience within the Mobile industry and has strategically developed the business to its existing position as a leading technology provider. For 8 years prior her background was in Project Management, Human Resources and Customer Services.
Rich Holdsworth
Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer
Rich has 8 years' background in Video Games Creation and Development as Lead Designer on 'Number 1' products, 8 years' in Web Development and 6 years in Mobile Development (with crossover) he was credited in the Sunday Times for creating the first ever WAP game.
Nick James
Legal Director
Nick James has over 25 years' experience of giving legal and general advice to industry. He has held senior positions in Taylor Woodrow, Westland Helicopters and Burmah Castrol. Latterly he has acted as a consultant to BP. He was appointed Group Legal Advisor to Burmah and was a Director of several of their subsidiary companies. He specialises in acquisitions and disposals, joint venturing and project work, but he has also been involved with most of the legal and commercial aspects of international business.
Frank Kemery
US Business Development
Frank Kemery is a technology marketing professional, with extensive experience and knowledge of the current wireless content, mobile video, search, and mobile advertising markets. He has worked in strategic planning, business development, alliance building, product planning, development, and management roles with AT&T Wireless, RealNetworks, and InfoSpace in startup and mature environments.
