Mobile Internet Device Profiling

Wapple's mobile device profiler is a technical master piece. It is able to detect the handset and browser the moment a visitor enters a Wapple site url. The Device Profiler understands everything it needs to know about that device and browser, and more, so that it can reconfigure the site built by you perfectly on the fly.

This delivery process, also known as 'porting' or 'reformatting' is so important to your success on the mobile internet, yet you will never have to worry about it when you choose Wapple!

What is a mobile device?

Any device with a browser including Mobile (Cell) Phones, PDAs & some hand-held games consoles (e.g. Sony PSP).

We see test handsets visit sites built on Wapple long before those handsets have even hit the market.

Our Device Profiler delivers appropriate mark-up (WML, HTML, XHTML, CHTML) and content formats to 3G, iMode, GPRS, GSM networks and of course over wireless LAN connectivity.

Again you really don't have to worry about what device comes visiting your site - you simply build your site once and we handle all of the porting for you
