Wapple walks away with Mobile Entertainment Award
Easy-to-use mobile internet development tools earn Wapple prestigious industry award
Wapple (http://wapple.net) has been named 'Best Mobile Publishing Platform' at this week's Mobile Entertainment Awards 2007. The prestigious Awards, which took place at The Brewery in London on 18 September, brought together the cream of the mobile content world to celebrate innovation and achievement.
Wapple triumphed over six, short-listed nominees, by a judging panel of 400 of the mobile content world's highest regarded executives, covering all aspects of the industry.
After picking up the award, Wapple co-founder and CTO Rich Holdsworth said: "We are delighted to win this fantastic accolade. It's true recognition of our fantastic technology. It's also reward to our pro-active development team who ensure Wapple Canvas continues to be the most versatile, user friendly and powerful mobile publishing platform in existence alongside our management and support team, who are committed to providing excellent, first class service."
The event, now in its second year, was organised and hosted by Mobile Entertainment magazine and is now recognised as one of the mobile industry's calendar highlights.
Tim Green, executive editor of Mobile Entertainment magazine, said: "Once again the best of the industry gathered in one room to collectively celebrate its innovation and success. Can't wait to do it all again next year."
Wapple's range of web-based site building solutions and payment options make the mobile internet accessible to all sizes of businesses.
